Amager Resource Center had an unused chimney standing next to CopenHill for many years. Its demolition had been planned for some time, and now photos and video are available, allowing you to witness the impressive sight of the chimney being brought down in a controlled demolition.

The view from CopenHill’s rooftop is now even more spectacular, and especially right after the demolition, it’s fascinating to see just how precise and controlled the operation was.

Enjoy a delicious cup of coffee, hot chocolate, a pancake or a cold draft beer after making your way to the top of Amager Bakke. You’ve earned a reward after walking the almost 500 metres to the top!

And of course, you’re more than welcome to visit the rooftop café even if you choose to take the elevator.
